Good News Florida
OUT AND ABOUT 16 NOVEMBER 2017 Good News • Broward Edition Lifework Leadership held its annual Kick-Off Retreat for its 12th class, which included an Alumni Dinner featuring Anne Belier, founder of Auntie Anne's Pretzels, as guest speaker. With over 550 alumni from Broward County alone, many business leaders of faith are making time to speak into the lives of this new class of Leaders that have decided to genuinely be guided by God in their daily business dealings and home lives. Some of the speakers in- cluded Steven French, who serves as the president of Life- work Leadership based in Or- lando, and Stephan Tchividjian, Executive Director of Lifework Leadership, South Florida. Former Miami Dolphins Linebacker John Offerdahl shared his leadership experi- ences with the group in his own special way, tackling the subject with action and humor. Prompted by his experience at Lifework Leadership, Offerdahl created an outreach called Of- ferdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation and Home Team Advantage, which feeds the needs of those in crisis. John Offerdahl’s Grid- iron Grill-Off Food and Wine Festival, happening on No- vember 11, brings together his love of food and football to raise funds for these charities.
