This year’s epic event had almost 2,000 participants, over 200 volun- teers and close to 400 spec- tators. Close to $230,000 was raised, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to sup- port the children’s homes at Sheridan House. Sheri- dan House is committed to offering community services, which give children and fam- ilies the opportunity to reach their full, God-given potential; opportunities that might oth- erwise not be available due to impeding circumstances in the home. The Goliath Gauntlet combines a 3-mile run with 21 very different and safe ob- stacles. Some are challeng- ing enough for the avid mud-runners and others are just so much fun, those look- ing for an enjoyable experi- ence are sure to have a blast! This year the course wel- comed new challenges like the balancing act of the Shin Shredder and having partici- pants climb to new heights on The Birdcage. The next Goliath Gauntlet will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018.
