Good News - May 2025

We need to all live by and act according to good words from the good book; e.g. 1 Peter 2:17. Respect everyone, love the brotherhood (and sisterhood ) fear God and honor the King! Our community and certainly our country, would be a better place to live if these instructions were followed! Romney C. Rogers, Managing Partner, Rogers, Morris & Ziegler LLP If I could plant one idea in my community this May and watch it grow, it would be to allow more churches and Christian schools in the community. Church is so vital for any community as it brings people together for a greater purpose and allows people to fellowship, worship and grow closer to Jesus. It may not always be a high revenue driver in the community, but the long-term health of the community gets better where there is a church. Private Christian schools are also so important for education and discipleship of our children and their parents and partner well within a church. Praying for more ways to reach our community and change our world through churches and Christians schools. Steve Daigle, Campus Pastor Calvary Chapel Parkland The one idea that I would really love to see grow in my community is just the simple commands that Jesus gives us in Matthew 22:37-40…To Love God and Love Our Fellow Man. If we could see this grow in our communities, we would have a much better world! Steve Solomon, Area Director, Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC) Get Educated with Truth and Facts NOT Emotion or conjecture - Stop watching the media - Read your Bible and the US Constitution. Sue Trombino, President and Founder, We Impact the Nation In this hustle and bustle world, sometimes we can neglect those around us. Many don’t even know the name of their next-door neighbor. Before hurricane Wilma, we didn’t either. The storm blew our fence down, requiring us to walk the dogs several times a day. And we were getting to know people. So, every month, we decide to give cookies to a neighbor and invite them to church. Plant seeds of kindness. If each person did that, more love would grow in our communities. Tewannah Aman, Executive Director, Broward Right to Life This is an easy one for me... May is National Foster Care Awareness Month, so I would want to plant the seed that foster care is a solvable issue. There are about the same number of kids in the foster care system in our community, state and nation as there are churches in the community, the state and the nation. If we had one foster family in every church, we would have A Home For Every Child! It's that simple — Every Church, Every Child! Thomas L.
