This year’s award will be presented to Jonny McCoy, CEO of the WhiteFlag App. Thank You First Responder (TYFRO) recently announce a groundbreaking partnership with WhiteFlag App aimed at bolstering mental health support for First Responders nationwide. This collaboration leverages innovative technology and communitydriven support to address the unique mental health challenges faced by First Responders. “First Responders face unique mental health challenges, and it’s crucial they have access to immediate, real-time support,” said Jonny McCoy, CEO and Founder of WhiteFlag. “Our collaboration with TYFRO allows us to extend our reach and impact significantly focusing on one life at a time.” National First Responders Day provides an opportunity to express gratitude for the relentless dedication of these heroes and to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. Each year, on average, 97 firefighters and 155 police officers lose their lives in the line of duty, facing risks of injury significantly higher than the national average. They are our neighbors, friends, and family, and their commitment involves tremendous personal costs, including stress, trauma, and time away from loved ones. National First Responders Day also serves as a call to action to provide resources and raise awareness, helping these essential community members lead healthier lives. By supporting them, we ensure their skills and knowledge are passed on to future generations.
