OUT AND ABOUT 76 NOVEMBER 2021 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition Pastor Rob Pacienza, Lead Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyte- rian Church, announced their Generation to Generation Cap- ital Campaign on Sunday, Octo- ber 17, 2021. Calling it a culture-shaping movement, Pa- cienza said, “As we look to the future, we must dare to dream again, to believe that God will do something great at a key mo- ment in the life of our church, our city, and our world.” A video presentation during the announcement, featured the late D. James Kennedy, Found- ingPastor of Coral RidgePresby- terianChurch, saying, “Ourwhole culture is going to hell in a hand- basket and most people in the churchesaredoingnothingabout it and most preachers are very guardedly sayingnothingabout it. 300,000 pulpits are silent.” To this, Pastor Rob Pa- cienza declared, “It’s time for Coral Ridge to revive its pur- pose of being a gospel-centered church that equips culture-shap- ing Christians,” adding, “I be- lieve Coral Ridge has the opportunity to lead the way in this cultural moment. We’ve done it before and I know by God’s grace we can do it again.” The campaign would dras- tically expand the church’s digi- tal reach and provide resources to put in the hand of churches and Christian leaders across the nation. It includes a state of the art education center, a brand new contemporary worship cen- ter and space for fellowship, and a purposeful focus on next-gen- eration ministry. Coral Ridge will host An Evening of Celebration and a Vision for the Future, featuring Keynote Speaker Dr. Albert Mohler, President of the South- ern Baptist Theological Semi- nary, on November 10.
