Boca Raton Christian School announced the appointment of Wendy Stapleton as the new Headmaster. The School Board and the Elder Board of Boca Raton Community Church con- firmed Stapleton in De- cember. Last summer Dr. Tennies and the School Board crafted a succession plan that named Stapleton as As- sistant Headmaster. Be- cause of that foresight, she was prepared to provide leadership as In- terim Headmaster when Dr. Tennies passed away suddenly in Sep- tember. Stapleton is well-known to the Boca Christian family from her 28 years with the school as an administrator, teacher in elementary through high school, and parent. Stapleton holds a Bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic Uni- versity in Elementary Education and a Mas- ter’s degree from Co- lumbia International Uni- versity in Educational Administration. She brings great energy and enthusiasm to her new role as she leads the school with a new vision, continuing to build on a foundation of over four decades of excellence.
