Ribbon Cutting at Lake Delray Senior Housing The Delray Housing Group (DHG), the prop- erty management divi- sion of the Delray Beach Housing Authority (DBHA), has completed its rehabilitation of the Lake Delray Apartments, a senior housing complex at 700 Lindell Boulevard in Delray Beach. The 404-unit apart- ment complex was pur- chased in 2016 by Lake Delray Apartments, LLLP a partnership including the Delray Housing Group. The DHG part- nered with Smith & Henzy Advisory Group, Inc. by serving as general partner of this $36.2 mil- lion project and also se- cured a property management agreement for the property. According to Dorothy Ellington, President of the DBHA, “The units have been fully rehabbed in- cluding the replacement of kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, windows and HVAC systems. There were also upgrades in the common areas in- cluding the elevators, community building and site lighting. In order to cause the least amount of interruption to our ten- ants, some tenants were moved out of their units while the work was being done.” The Delray Housing Group is a local non-profit agency that works in col- laboration with residents, property owners, busi- nesses, and other com- munity organizations to create and preserve af- fordable housing within the city and Palm Beach County.
