42 JUNE 2026 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition COMMUNITY NEWS SAINTS of Florida Home- school P.E. hosted their SAINTS-SATIONAL YEAR END Celebration Ceremony on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Tradewinds Park, Coconut Creek, winding down their 28th year of ministry. All SAINTS students received accredited PE certificates. Students were joined by parents, grandparents, siblings, SAINTS Alumni and some “SOON-2-BSAINTS” preschoolers. Other community and ministry leaders joined in the celebration as the group also celebrated the National Day of Prayer. Also on this special day, Saints officially announced their partnership with Offerdahl's Hand-OFF Foundation, an incredible organization spearheaded by Miami Dolphins, Pro-Bowl Linebacker John Offerdahl (most of all a man of God, incredible husband and father and Homeschool Dad, whose kids grew up at Saints) and assistant director Jym Kay. Offerdahl’s hand-off Foundation brings Meals to the elderly in our community at nursing homes. In true Christlike fashion Homeschool families rallied to participate in this incredible organization, who are reaching the least visited demographic of all people. And an extra cheer of “Congratulations” to the 772 children and young adults who have completed an amazing year of Saints of Florida Homeschool PE and received their well-deserved completion certificates!!
