Hands down for me, the most beautiful place I've ever visited in the United States is Yellowstone National Park. Particularly in June, when all the babies are up and around, it was a spectacular sight to see. Majestic creation at its best. Still on the "Bucket List" is a tour of the Pacific Northwest states. We'll be sure to bring an umbrella. Dr. Mike Rosenblum, Genesis Physical Medicine & Chiropractic I recently visited Ojai, California, just 83 miles NW of Los Angeles. It is a beautiful part of the USA. Still on my bucket list is to travel north on US101 to visit the Redwood National and State Parks in California. Milan Stefanovic, Chief Operations & Personal Lines Officer, Bass Underwriters The most beautiful place I have visited and lived in was Alaska. The mountains are so dramatic they look like they are kissing heaven. The wildlife throughout the state ranges from large moose to bears, to salmon and halibut. It truly is the last frontier! An iconic landmark I would like to visit would be Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Seeing the faces of the presidents carved out of the side of a mountain would be an impressive sight to see. I look forward to perhaps visiting someday. Oksana Horton, Artistic Director, Torch & Trumpet Theatre Company I think there is a toss up of the mountains of Tennessee and the islands in Hawaii as the most beautiful places I have ever seen. There is so much to see in the different areas of the country that many people miss, the beautiful apple orchards, the mountains, beaches, caves, even the plains filled with wildflowers. I have visited most of the iconic American landmarks throughout the years, but I have never been to Mount Rushmore and would like to see that as well. Patricia Colangelo, South Florida Bible College & Theological Seminary The most beautiful place I’ve ever visited in the United States, hands-down, would be the Grand Canyon. Just to see it resounds the fact that “God is the Creator of the Universe!” I’ve visited three times, once to the base camp on a mule(VERY SCARY) once by helicopter (AWESOME), and once viewed it from the huge (THICK) glass platform that extends far out over the ridge-(I WAS PETRIFIED).Bucket list: Hawaii. Coach Rick Andreassen, Founder and President, SAINTS Homeschool P.E. and Saints International Sports Ministry This time of year, I think of some of my summer golf ventures with my two boys and a friend. Some of the most spectacular views from golf courses we have played are those views on the California Monterey Peninsula, and especially at Pebble Beach. Looking out on the Pacific Ocean at Pebble Beach with the course popping green and the waves splashing against the shore below, is very memorable. You really get a glimpse of God’s playground! The only other venue I would like to visit is the golf course at Plantation Golf course at Kapalua Hawaii. Not in the continental US, but still one of our great 50 states! Romney C. Rogers, Managing Partner, Rogers, Morris & Ziegler LLP Probably the most beautiful place I've seen in the U.S. is the Columbia River Gorge outside Portland, Oregon. The biggest goal remaining on my bucket list is to see the Grand Canyon. Dr. Scott Manor, President, Professor of Historical Theology, Knox Theological Seminary It is hard to choose just one place in the United States that is the most beautiful, but if I had to pick one, I would have to say that Glacier National Park in Montana is absolutely beautiful. You can’t visit a place like this and not see the amazing work of God all over it. From the beautiful mountains, in some cases covered with snow, to where if you walk a little further down in the summer, you are in hot weather. There are also wild animals all around you like a zoo with no cages. It feels like a movie set exploring the mountains and amazing scenery. The landmark that is still on my bucket list is the Grand Canyon and our family has plans to visit there in 2027. We are blessed to live in such an amazing country! “For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities — his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse” (Romans Steve Daigle, Campus Pastor, Calvary Chapel Parkland One of my favorite places we visited is North Georgia. We went last year and I totally fell in love with the area. The starry nights, beautiful waterfalls, mountain views, and endless hiking trails made it an unforgettable experience. There was always something to explore, and being surrounded by such breathtaking beauty gave me a deeper appreciation for God's creation. A destination still on my bucket list is Glacier National Park in Montana, where I hope to experience even more of God's magnificent handiwork through its towering mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and stunning scenery.
