Good News - September 2025

I see God moving in a mighty way in our community in the doors that He is opening for Homeschool, Christian Schools, Charter Schools, Micro-Schools etc. I believe so many more parents are turning to alternatives in education for the best interest of their children. Homeschooling has increased 42%… For those of us in Christian education: “we have been called for a time such as this”!!!! Coach Rick Andreassen, Founder and President, SAINTS Homeschool P.E. and SAINTS International Sports Ministry At Faith Farm, we see God daily — moving donors to give, transforming lives from addiction into sold-out disciples and reconciling hundreds with their families. His work of restoration is evident in every person and testimony within our community. Rev. Rick Aspden, CEO, Faith Farm Ministries I do believe there is a spiritual movement afoot in our community that has God’s hand all over it. The best example I know of is seeing young people “showing up” in Church like I have never seen before. Further, 26-year-old Pastor Charlie Hughes packs over 1,500 18–30-year-olds into the First Baptist sanctuary once a month on a Friday Night at 8:00 in Downtown Fort Lauderdale! Certainly, part of the attraction is music and lights, but the gospel message keeps them coming back! Romney C. Rogers, Managing Partner, Rogers, Morris & Ziegler LLP I'm particularly encouraged to see ways in which the business and ministry communities are coming together in some new ways. Specifically, at Knox Seminary, we are pursuing ways to equip pastors not just for the usual pastoral duties, but as organizational leaders. Having at least a working knowledge of issues in the areas of finance, law, and human resources are important parts of leading an organization, but seminaries typically don't offer (let alone require) courses in these areas. I've seen God bring both of these communities (business professionals and church/ministry leaders) together in generous ways to help Knox develop resources to equip these leaders in new and important ways. Dr. Scott Manor, President, Professor of Historical Theology, Knox Theological Seminary God is indeed always at work. One of the ways that I have been seeing this is through our young people in our church and community. There is a revival taking place and our young people have a desire to know God deeper. We witnessed over 1,500 students attend Youth Encounter at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale over the summer and 68 of them were baptized. We recently had a Beach Baptism at Pompano Beach and almost 60 of the 217 people baptized were under 18. Revival is starting in our community with our youth and starting to spread to all ages. Let’s take every opportunity to shine the Light of Jesus so that the world will truly know Him as our Lord and Savior. Steve Daigle, Campus Pastor, Calvary Chapel Parkland In dealing with those in the marketplace, what I have seen is increased searching and looking for purpose, for a better way, with our younger generation. They definitely are looking for the meaning and are open to finding out more about God, Jesus Christ and God’s Word. Steve Solomon, Area Director, CBMC South Florida I believe God is revealing Himself more and more. The Holy Spirit is working in and through so many people as people are looking and searching for the Truth, they are looking for people that are real and that their yes is their yes and no is their no. Satan has overplayed his hand and is madder than a hornet because so many are coming to know Christ because of the move of The Holy Spirit. Sue Trombino, Founder and President, We Impact the Nation Yes!! I am so encouraged to see churches uniting to bring together the body of Jesus Christ. I have seen it at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, where my husband and I attend. And, I have had numerous individuals tell me of events where several churches came together to educate and empower fellow believers. We are stronger when we are a united front.
