I said sure; can we do it after the study? Tim handed me an envelope which I did not open until after the study when Tim asked, “did you look what’s in the envelope?” Curiously, I said, “no not yet.” I opened the envelope and there with these two sheets of paper and Tim mentioned, “I reread these two articles that you wrote every day during my morning devotionals, and they have had such an impact on me. I just wanted you to know.” One article titled “We can do more and better” Appeared in the January 2024 issue of the Good News and the other article was April 2020 titled “HE can do all things, but we can do some things” Hope Women’s Centers: Creating a Culture of Life by Shelly Pond, Good News Editor Words cannot express how grateful I am that Good News featured Hope Women’s Centers. We are not called to “make aware” but to “make disciples”. - Tobi Carvana Thank you, Dr. Graham. Appreciate your wisdom and encouragement. - Oliveia Newton Respectfully, I cannot agree with these statements! My marching orders come from Jesus Christ the king of kings, lord of lords! - Stephen Glass Absolutely, I am thankful you have the backbone to discuss this important matter. Ty. - Robert Bob Pickett History was made today. A majority of Evangelicals and other Protestant and Catholic religious groups have, for the first time in American history, elected a convicted felon, a convicted sexual abuser, a man who a judge has said is a rapist, a godless man with no character, and a man who has said he’s never felt a need Admittedly, I was curious not having instant recall on what I wrote that would have that kind of impact? I’m glad Tim shared his story with me. - Leslie J. Feldman, Good News Publisher Who Am I? by Dr. O.S. Hawkins, Chancellor, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary O.S. was the pastor of my church in the early 70s. I learned about the Holy Spirit because of him. I’ve never heard anything come out of his mouth that is questionable and I question everything. - Kevin Corcorran What is the church doing with all that tax free money? - Richard N Ballzitch Glory? Do you remember what Moses did after he saw that half of his people were worshipping a statue of a calf? Remember his next move? It’s in there, and its unusually clear in this incident. - Joe Zamecki Yeah, how about that Moses cat. 40 years to travel 7 miles. lol A snail covers that journey in only 4 years. - John Martin The overwhelming generosity of the people of Coral Springs helped provide joy to children in need through Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts this season. Across the U.S., the Samaritan's Purse project collected 10.5 million shoebox gifts in 2024. Combined with those collected from partnering countries in 2024, the ministry is now sending over 11.9 million shoebox gifts to children worldwide. Shoebox packers brought joy and hope to children around the world through fun, full, personalized gifts. For many children, this is the first gift they have ever received. Each shoebox gift is a tangible expression of God’s love, given to children in need around the world. Since 1993, Operation Christmas Child has collected and delivered more than 232 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children in more than 170 countries and territories. Across the region, shoebox packers often shop for deals on shoebox items throughout the year, and many serve at a deeper level by becoming a year-round volunteer. Information about ways area participants can get involved year-round can also be found at samaritanspurse.org/occ. These simple gifts, packed with love, remind children around the world that they are loved and not forgotten. - Molly Miller, Samaritan’s Purse/ Operation Christmas Child We Get Letters
