Liberty counsel is a Christian ministry that proclaims, advocates, supports, advances and defends the good news of Jesus Christ through education and strategic litigation. Their mission is to restore the culture by advancing religious freedom, the sanctity of human life and the family. Staver pointed to several court cases they have litigated that are creating legal precedents that will last for generations.
