Families participate in the Easter Eggstravaganza for children at First Church of the Open Bible, Lauderdale Lakes, following Easter 2024 Worship Service. Children in Kindergarten through grade 5 decorated the cross with flowers on Easter Sunday at Parkridge Church in Coral Springs. Worship Pastor Lane Wood explained, "The Flowering of the Cross" is a way to show that something meant for death and destruction was made beautiful by what Christ accomplished on the cross. 1 Corinthians 1:18 Worshippers flowed into the newly renovated main sanctuary at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale for two celebratory services led by Pastor David Hughes at First Baptist Fort Lauderdale on Easter Sunday followed by an Easter Beach Baptism at Pompano Beach.
