COMMUNITY NEWS 40 JANUARY 2024 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition The Guerrieri Family Foundation, in an ongoing commitment to the mission of Holy Cross Health, has announced that its latest donation brings the foundation’s total giving to more than $7 million. “We are so grateful to the Guerrieri family for their incredible support of Holy Cross over the years,” Holy Cross CEO and President Mark Doyle said. “Because of their commitment and generosity, we continue to serve our community with healthcare excellence, cutting edge treatment, and compassionate and comprehensive care.” The generous gift will fund the renovation of the threestory Holy Cross Medical Complex at 4701 N. Federal Highway, which will be renamed the Guerrieri Family Medical Complex. At the Guerrieri Family Medical Complex, patients will have access to Holy Cross Medical Group primary care physicians starting December 11, 2023. “The renovations will include multiple physician offices and exam rooms designed to enhance the patient experience,” said Karan Munuswamy, M.D., Medical Director of Philanthropy for Holy Cross Heath. “The Guerrieri Family Foundation has a long history with Holy Cross,” said Holy Cross Health Vice President and Chief Development Officer Laura Denoux. “We appreciate their support as we continue to bring the highest level of quality care to our patients.” To learn more about Holy Cross Health, visit holycross.com. Lauderdale Executive Airport. It was a night of food, music, entertainment and celebrating all the progress that has been made in Egbe, Nigeria. Don Campion, Egbe Medical Mission Project Leader and President of Banyan Air Service, Inc., welcomed guests, and various team members shared images and stories of the revitalization project and improvements at the rural mission hospital in Nigeria that serves a large area in the African bush.
