Enrique Sobrino Salutatorian St. Thomas Aquinas High School Enrique Sobrino is an AP Scholar with Distinction, Hispanic Recognition Award Scholar, and a Georgetown Medical Research Scholar. He held leadership positions in the National Spanish Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Science Honor Society and National Honor Society. He was a member of Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, NationalArt Society, Marine Biology Club, Future Health Care Professionals Club, Spanish Club, Foster Friends Club, D. I. S. C. Club, and Photography Club. Enrique accumulated more than 300 volunteer hours. Natalie served as President of the House of Ten Boom and had roles in school productions of Pride and Prejudice and Our Town. She won four district championships while playing Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Tennis. Natalie graduates with a GPAof 4.91 and will attend the University of Florida in the fall. Kaelyn Mena Salutatorian Sheridan Hills Christian School Kaelyn Mena is the Sheridan Hills Christian School Salutatorian for the class of 2023. Kaelyn’s accolades include serving as Captain of the District Champion Girls Soccer team, a member of the tennis team, and leading in the office o Scholar of the House of Truth. She had lead roles in schoo productions of Pride and Prejudice, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Our Town while teaching dance to preschool and elementary-age children. Kaelyn graduates with a GPA o 4.86 and will attend Belmont University in the fall. Miniaris Montanez Co-Valedictorian St. Thomas Aquinas High School Miniaris Montanez is a Silver Knight Nominee, National Honor Society for Dance Arts Honorable Mention Recipient, and AP Scholar with distinction. Mini is the Co-president of Campus Ministry, manager of the STADance Company, President of Raiders for Life, Treasurer of Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, Fundraising Coordinator of National Spanish Honor Society, member of the Leadership Council of National Honor Society, English Honor Society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, National Science Honor Society, andVice President of Spanish Club. Mini founded Supporting Elementary Students in Puerto Rico and is a Donate2Dance Ambassador. She plans to attend the University of Florida Honors College, majoring inApplied Physiology/Kinesiology. Rocco Garcia Co-Valedictorian St. Thomas Aquinas High School Rocco Garcia is a Silver Knight Nominee, Veritas Scholar,AP Scholar with Distinction, membership in National English Honor Society, MuAlpha Theta, Science National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Rho Kappa, and National Honor Society. Atalented pianist and entrepreneur, Rocco established a sneaker resale business, and launched a service project, which employs Blockchain technology and NFTs to raise funds for ecological organizations. Rocco’s community service focused on Shake-a-Leg Miami. He earned scholarship awards from eight universities and plans to attend the Georgia Institute of Technology's College of Computing, majoring in Computer Science, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Modeling & Simulation. McKayla Martin Valedictorian The King’s Academy McKayla Martin represents the embodiment of a graduate of The King’s Academy. As the oldest of five siblings, it is no surprise that McKayla can lead others positively by demonstrating her own commitment to carry herself in a Christ-like manner. She has served as an Ambassador, Global Ambassador, Co-President of Group316 and Spiritual Life Prefect. As a scholar, McKayla was selected as Junior Marshal in eleventh grade, named as National Merit Finalist, is graduating with a cumulative GPAof 4.672, designation as an English Superlative award recipient, and active membership in six honor societies. Zacary Webb Salutatorian The King’s Academy Zacary Webb is exemplary and accomplished. Zac’s level of grit is rarely found in a high school senior but is necessary to attain and maintain his high standing among the senior class with a GPA of 4.671, three senior superlative awards and active membership in seven honor societies. Zac served as President of the Math National Honor Society and Vice President of Florida Law Honor Society. On the field, Zac attained impressive results in his senior season, winning 240 face-offs, scoring 22 goals, 23 assists, 136 ground balls, and being named co-MVP, first-team alldistrict and first-team all-regional.
