211 Broward announced the finalists for the 12th Annual Community Care Plan Non-Profit Awards on Tuesday, January 10 at an exclusive Broward Health VIPAnnouncement livestreaming show and reception at ArtServe. The 12th Annual Community Care Plan Non-Profit Awards acknowledge the highest level of achievement, innovation, and quality in the non-profit sector. Every nonprofit is encouraged to attend the luncheon and awards ceremony on March 3, 2023, at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino to celebrate their contributions to the community. Awards will be given in 10 categories, and all other nominees will be eligible for the Community Choice Award. The funds will allow Covenant House Florida to continue helping young people overcome homelessness and trafficking by providing best-in-class services and a shared commitment to unconditional love, absolute respect, and relentless support for each young person who walks through its doors. “We are so thrilled to once again host our annual event to honor my uncle’s legacy and share his passion for raising much-needed funds for Covenant House Florida,” said Andrew Koenig, CEO of CITY Furniture. “We are so appreciative of our incredibly generous business partners and vendors who support this event year after year.
