OUT AND ABOUT 62 December 2023 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida edition Calvary House, a ministry on a mission to heal and restore men and women from addiction, held a graduation ceremony on Saturday, November 11th at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale that was attended by friends and family. It all started in 1990 when Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale started Calvary House. Calvary House is a 12-month long Christ-centered residential recovery program for those who have been battling addiction. The program consists of 4 phases that help the residents identify with why they have been doing what they have been doing. It’s NOT just a place to get sober, it goes way deeper than that. Their objective is to help the residents get to the root of the problem. Only then will they experience lasting change. Twice a year, Calvary House holds their graduation for the men and women who complete the program. This is a huge accomplishment. The men and women who complete the program are true life examples that a relationship with Jesus changes everything. “We are beyond proud of this group,” said Antony Tchividjian, Calvary House Manager. If you or someone you know is battling addiction and needs help, please reach out to them.
