Alexa Shumway Valedictorian St. Andrew’s School Alexa Shumway’s favorite subjects are History and Chemistry. She was a member of Dance Company and Vice President of FLAMES Club, the Female Leadership Association in Math, Engineering, and Science (FLAMES), an Upper School club at Saint Andrew’s School that encourages girls to take leadership roles in the fields of math, science, engineering, and technology. Alexa interned at a microbiome therapeutics company, Finch Therapeutics and interned for the Waverly Project Foundation. She was a member of Cum Laude and Co-President of Saint Andrew’s School Student Ambassadors Dylan Rogers Salutatorian St. Andrew’s School Dylan Rogers’ favorite subjects are Math and Economics. He earned an International Baccalaureate Diploma.Amember of the 2020 State ChampionshipTeam, Dylanwas on the Varsity Basketball Team for three years. He interned at Next Coast Ventures, Venture Capital Firm. He was a member of Cum Laude. DuQuesnay is a National Merit Scholar, Silver Knight Nominee, Broward County ScholarAthlete, AP Scholar with Distinction, President/Founder of STA Investor’s Club, President of Turning Point Ft. Lauderdale, Florida American Legion Boys’State Delegate, National Honor Society, Tri-MHonor society, Rho Kappa Social Studies Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society Officer, Science National Honor Society Officer, National English Honor Society, national Technical Honor Society, National Athletic Honor Society, Varsity Cross Country & Track (4years). Kamryn plans to attend University of Notre Dame: Mendoza School of Business, Finance and Real Estate. Olivia R. Christie Salutatorian St. Thomas Aquinas High School With a weighted HPA of 5.419, Olivia R. Christie is a National Merit Finalist, National Hispanic Scholar, and National AP Scholar with Distinction. She was a member of National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society, National English Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society, National Athletic Honor Society, Varsity Cross Country & Track (4 years). Olivia plans to attend University of Michigan to study Biomolecular Science on the Pre-Veterinary Track. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change.” – Charles Darwin Jamee Roegiers Valedictorian Saint John Paul II Academy Jamee Roegiers graduated as Valedictorian of Saint John Paul II Academy. She was a National Merit Commended Scholar and a three year membership in the National Honor Society as well as a two year member of Mu Alpha Theta. She participated four years on the soccer team, three years on the lacrosse team, and was also a cheerleader this past year. She also served on both Student Council and Student Government. She has been accepted at Florida State University, Clemson University, University of Central Florida, and the University of Florida. She will attend the University of Florida where she plans to study for a career in Law or Education. Cole Engelke Salutatorian Saint John Paul II Academy Cole Engelke graduated at the Salutatorian of Saint John Paul II Academy. He was a 3-year member of National Honor Society and a 4-year member of MuAlpha Theta. He was also a member of the Varsity Lacrosse team during all four of his years at SJPII and was involved in Student Government for his junior and senior years, serving for this past year as Senior Class President. He has been accepted to Auburn University, University of Florida, Clemson University, Penn State University, Florida State University, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and the University ofAlabama. He will attend the University of Alabama where he will study Chemical Engineering, with a concentration in Biochemical Engineering. Outstanding High School Graduates 2022 Cristina Lahud Valedictorian The King’s Academy Abright scholar, and a servant leader, Cristina Lahud is full of tenacity and dedicated to excellence in her studies. Christlike hearted to serve others, she speaks at bible studies, volunteers as a youth tennis coach, and tutors and mentors struggling students. An AP Scholar with Distinction and a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar, she graduates as valedictorian with a 4.7WGPA, maintainingA’s in all courses in high school and achieving Principal’s Award every year. This fall, she will be joining the prestigious Mendoza College of Business at University of Notre Dame. Joshua Zuchowski Salutatorian The King’s Academy A top athlete and a distinctive scholar, Joshua Zuchowski’s focus in and out of the classroom delivered him a high level of success. Josh’s commitment to academics is seen in his outstanding performance as he graduates as salutatorian with a cumulative GPAof 4.63, and completion of the DiMino Engineering & Technology Program of Distinction. Josh’s accomplishments in the pool will leave a long-lasting legacy at TKA, being the most decorated swimmer in TKA’s athletic history by attaining eight state titles. This fall, he joins Stanford University as an NCAADI swimmer studying Econometrics.
