Olivia Wiebe Outstanding Homeschool Student CEDAR, Classical Education Day at Riverside Home educated since grade four, Olivia graduatedAPScholar with Distinction and National Hispanic Scholar. Her interests include 13 years of piano education, 11 years with SwimFast, and 3 years at DeVita Art Academy. Her early love for storytelling matured into a passion for history and Truth. The Worldview course at Classical Education Days at Riverside (learnwithcedar.com) impacted her college choice. Olivia will be attendingWheaton College, awarded their Presidential Scholarship and recruited to swim for the Thunder. She plans to major in history and minor in biblical archaeology and music composition. Samuel David Gallagher Outstanding Homeschool Student HEED, Home Education Enrichment Day Samuel has been homeschooled since kindergarten and has attended HEED, Home Education Enrichment Day, in Boca Raton for 6 years. He has earned 24 college credits and 1100 community service hours. He is a member of the Conservative Homeschoolers and Writers Club, Calvary Chapel. Samuel also attended Cornerstone Theatre, where he was in several productions including the role of Jack Kelly in Newsies and Tony in West Side Story. Using his talents to glorify God through the arts, Samuel has written several small stage productions for VBS and is also part of CCFLKids’ Ministry writing team. This fall Samuel will be attending FSU on a scholarship to study English, and eventually he plans on writing screenplays. Marvin Orozco Outstanding Leader Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leader Marvin Orozco has been on St. Thomas Aquinas High School state and national championship teams for four years. He’s also a member of the National Honor, National English Honors, and Rho Kappa Honors Societies. Recently, he was awarded the George F. Smith Family, the CAP, and President’s EducationAwards. On top of all that, he’ll be studying Engineering and continuing his football career at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. All this pales in comparison to his impact as a man of God. Since his junior year, he’s been the spiritual leader on his team, and has used his role to draw more teammates and classmates to Jesus. William Bates Outstanding Leader Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leader William Bates has been an outstanding leader at Jupiter High School through his involvement in Fellowship of Christian Athletes. A 2-year Letterman and Football Team Captain, he also led the Varsity Track Team as Captain. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout through Boy Scouts of America. An AICE Diploma recipient, he acquired more than 200 Community service hours. Billy plans to pursue a degree in business finance at Florida State University. He hopes to stay active through running and going to the gym and may try walking on next year for the team. 27 JUNE 2022 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition GRADUATES Isaiah Petree Valedictorian Jupiter Christian School With a GPAof 4.50, Isaiah maintained straightAs throughout his high school career, named on the Principal’s List every year. He is a Pathfinder nominee in the category of Academic Excellence. He has received multiple awards, which include being named a Ben Carson National Fund Winner, receiving the JCS Student of Distinction Award, and receiving a two-time Academic Excellence Award in the subject of History. Isaiah has participated in several clubs while in high school and was selected as the JCS Senior Prefect Board Member, a member of the National Honors Society where he serves as President. Isaiah lettered all four years on the Swimming Team where he was named team captain his senior year. Caroline Byrd Salutatorian Jupiter Christian School With a GPA of 4.48, Caroline is a Pathfinder nominee in Math and was awarded the JCS Student of DistinctionAward for Math and Science. She was a member of the National Honor Society where she served as Secretary. She was also a Student Government Representative, Junior Class President, and JCS Senior Prefect Board Member. She will be graduating from Jupiter Christian’s School of Distinction with a Medical focus. Caroline was a straight A student her entire High School career and was recognized on the Principal’s List all four years. She lettered inVolleyball all four years of high school and received the JCS Mighty in Spirit Award for representing the spirit of Christ in attitude and actions among her teammates. Outstanding High School Graduates 2022 Gabriella Cacciapuoti Valedictorian Sheridan Hills Christian School Gabriella Cacciapuoti has been a student at Sheridan Hills Christian School since Elementary school and we have watched her grow into an exemplary student. Gabriella has held several leadership roles over the years including Scholar of the House of Truth and also as this year’s President of the National Honor Society. As President of NHS, Gabriella personally led our school in raising funds for the International Mission Board which provided direct help to impoverished people inAfrica and displaced refugees. Gabriella has taken a full load of AP classes and is graduating with a 5.13 grade point average. She will be attending the University of Florida in the fall to pursue a career in medicine. Anna Chipman Salutatorian Sheridan Hills Christian School Anna Chipman is the Sheridan Hills Christian School Salutatorian of the class of 2022. Ana has displayed strong leadership skills while serving as President of the House of Eliot and as a member of the National Honor Society. She was a starter on the District Champion Volleyball team and held lead roles in the school productions of Pride & Prejudice and AMidsummer Night’s Dream. She also participated in the chapel praise team and is active at her church. Anna studied on the school Honors track and finished with a 4.96 grade point average. She will attend Boyce College in the fall.
