It was a memorable evening to honor our past, while reaching to grow beyond! We paid tribute to our founders, heard stories of success and enjoyed musical performances by Mike Donehey and Austin French. It was a beautiful celebration to propel 4KIDS into the next 25 years of impacting thousands more children and families in need. Learn more at 4kids.us Strikeforce 421 announced this season’s ministry semi-finalists during their “Gather and Give” breakfast held on Giving Tuesday at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts with a sold-out crowd. Strikeforce 421 is a women’s giving circle dedicated to radical, lifechanging generosity, which has donated more than $1 million to local Christian charities since its inception. By pooling their resources together, women have found they can make a greater impact in meeting the needs of our community. Each Strikeforce 421 pledge partner contributes $1,000 or more a year and all the funds are pooled together and given away annually to ministries that proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ as a part of what they do. This year’s semi-finalists include Sonrise Mission, Hearts for Moms, Youth For Christ Fort Lauderdale, Grace Place School and Many But One. Strikeforce 421 hopes to raise $237,000 to fully fund their grant requests by the Spring Grant Award Celebration on March 16.
