Good News - March 2021

We are Grateful. Happy Easter To our faithful readers, it should be no surprise we work a couple to several months out, deciding on our covers and features. To that end we had planned to feature David Hughes and Church By The Glades (CBG) last April for Easter. When March rolled around, we were already aware of the looming COVID-19 lockdown and massive closures. Our world was in the midst of pro- found change, so we had to pivot, not knowing what distribution we would be allowed. Thank God we also publish on-line in digital format at goodnewsfl.org/digital/, so we are thrilled to be able to run this month's Easter feature we had ready to go last year. I share with our Good News readers that frommy background I come from a long stint in the music and theatrical world, so I fondly refer to CBG as the Rock 'n Roll church and marvel at how Pastor Hughes delivers his sermon in such full scale presen- tation replete with visual interpretation and staging full of joy. The congregation rarely sits as they worship, and in the commercial secular world, would require a two drink minimum. Wow, Pastor David Hughes delivers the word. I encourage you to check it out. We are pleased and proud to welcome Franklin Graham to the Good News this month. Franklin Graham is the leader of the Billy Graham Evangelist Association and Samaritan's Purse global dis- aster relief. Enjoy and Happy Easter everyone! Immense blessings to you all. Les We Get Letters Hi Shelly, I just love the article and I’m humbled to be a part of Re- building Together! Thank you! By the way, I’ve received so many wonderful text messages and emails about our cover…you have wonderful readership! Traci D. Miller SR VP Business Development Miller Construction Company Dear Shelly, We are most appreciative of receiving this article from you. Many of us have been members of CRPC for several years and have also attended Westminster Academy. So this article is of great interest to the several friends I will be sending copies to who have moved from Fort Lauderdale to various other cities in Florida. When my husband owned and operated Buz Hahn's garage on McNab Road we had several issues delivered to the business. Seldom were any left. As for us, we read it cover to cover. It was always most interesting. A Ft. Lauderdale friend saw the cover of this issue and knew our interest so sent it to us. Sincere thanks and God's Blessings, Donna & Buz Hahn PUBLISHER 4 MARCH 2021 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition South Florida Edition • Good News • March 2021 • Volume 22, Issue 12 - Leslie J.
