37 JUNE 2021 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition OUT AND ABOUT End Lost Innocence to Exploitation (ELITE) Founda- tion hosted its annual signa- ture Guardian of Hope event this May in collaboration with Bishop Rick Thomas of Abun- dant Life Church, Humanitar- ian Philanthropists, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Dee Jordan, with the support of a collective of organizations, agencies and experts, advocates, and Sur- vivor leaders in the field of anti-human trafficking. The End the Demand is a national initiative that has piv- oted in strategy in 2021 to ex- tend the reach of the message of Hope and to in- spire men to get actively in- volved across our country to End It. The event featured Coach Hue Jackson, the Messenger, Mr. Alan Smyth of Saving In- nocence, the co-creator of Taking Innocence the docu- film, Mrs. Neicey Johnson, award-winning recording artist, Gail Moore, and End the De- mand panel of experts; Mr. Nic McKinley of Deliver Fund, Dr. R.J. Thicklin of Man of Pur- pose, Mr. Jose Martinez of Florida Department of Law En- forcement (FDLE) Miami where he leads the Major Case Investigations Squad (HIDTA FDLE/ATF Task Force), Mr. Roger DeHart (Vic- tim Advocate), Mr. Rick Krive (Advocate) and Mr. Art Moore (Former New England Patriot, Parent of Thriving-Survivor). The evening honored the many lives stolen and lost to the crimes of sexual exploita- tion and trafficking. Keeping the Promise, in support of the Carpenter Cap- ital campaign, Elite Founda- tion, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit or- ganization powered by people coming together to make a significant impact in preven- tion, intervention and restora- tion, for freedom for all.
