Since their establish- ment in 1970, Gunther Motor Company has sup- ported organizations includ- ing, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, Food for the Poor, SOS Children’s Village, and the National Pe- diatric Cancer Foundation, among others. Their most recent efforts have benefit- ted 4KIDS, first responders and hospital workers, and HOPE South Florida. Gunther Motor Com- pany has donated $10,000 to 4KIDS, a faith-based or- ganization dedicated to pro- viding hope, homes, and help to at-risk children and young adults throughout South Florida. “4KIDS South Florida helps the most vulnerable: our community’s youth. Every kid deserves a happy place to call home. We are glad to support 4KIDS and help make an impact on a child’s future,” said Joe Gun- ther, IV, Vice President of Gunther Motors. This donation comes at a time when the financial needs of many organizations are beginning to feel the ef- fects of the canceled events and fundraisers. “We are so grateful for your timely gift during National Child Abuse Awareness Month, right on the heels of May being Na- tional Foster Care Month,” said Else Engel, of 4KIDS. Gunther Motor Company also partnered with Farm to Forks Meals to deliver 1,500 meals to first responders and local hospitals in South Florida. By the end of the week, 1,500 meals will be de- livered to Joe DiMaggio Chil- dren’s Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital, Cleveland Clinic Weston, Broward Health North, Coconut Creek Police Department, and Delray Beach Police Department. In order to make these deliveries possible, Gunther Motors worked with Farm to Fork Meals, a meal delivery service started by South Florida native Michael Panza. “We feel blessed that we can express our gratitude by preparing and delivering healthy meals to front-line health care workers and first responders in South Florida,” said Panza, Founder and CEO of Farm to Fork Meals. In addition, Gunther Motor Company gave $25,000 to HOPE South Florida to support their faith- based work in aiding South Florida’s most vulnerable in the face of the economic im- pact of Covid-19. With the donation made to HOPE South Florida, many services will directly benefit with aid going to supporting their mobile shower care units, rapid re- housing relief, and financial effects of COVID-19. "To- gether, with HOPE, we hope to leave a lasting impact be- yond the effects of COVID- 19," said Gunther. With a strong philan- thropic presence in the South Florida community for 50 years, Gunther Motor Company and the Gunther Family have been working diligently to support all av- enues affected by COVID- 19. “These are unprecedented times, and a time when many are in need. Almost every Ameri- can man, woman and child has been affected by Covid- 19.”, said Gunther.
