Also, we felt the money was a bit high for the little return we were seeing" "We and I have nothing against theGoodNews! I think it's a very reputable magazine with Godly personnel" "Some of the articles do not line up with a Biblical worldview" "The good news is very helpful to the body of Christ because it helps to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Keep up the good work" "The Good News does not really fit in our context...seems like a bit much for our non-churchy crowd" "I love the good news it keeps us relevant of what hap- pening around us. The good news gives us opportunities to find ways to reach out to the community, as well con- certs and workshops in our area. I love to read the testi- monies on how God is moving in the live of individuals and it gives us an opportunity to pray and help provide for those in need" "The good news is encouraging and so uplifting. Please, keep doing God's work. Many blessings!" "Don't have a church here in SoFlo" "You are keeping it pretty mainstream - Keep on - You can't please everybody...." "Youmaywant toconsider 'lesspaper'.... 'moreelectronic" "I answered no on, do I read the GN. I only say no be- cause I do not read each copy. I have read articles many times in the past. The only reason I don't read it much has nothing to with the Good News its self but has more to do with my reading habits!" "The last question baffledme a bit. Just to clarify--I be- lieve that the Good News is helpful. Question: Is it possi- ble to write a short article/devotional in the Good News on a periodic basis? I would like that if possible" "The leaning of Good News seems to be towards a more conservative, white, primarily non-denomination ex- pression of Christianity. The Christian community in South Florida is much more diverse than this. There are many diverse, mainline and more progressive leaning congregations/denominations in the community, as well. These are part of a thriving Christian community in South Florida, as well. I would suggest that Good News give voice to those expressions of Christian discipleship, as well. Thank you for your time and inviting us to re- spond. God's Peace" "I don't see anything negative in the good news in re- gard to the questions you asked" PUBLISHER 4 MARCH 2020 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition South Florida Edition • Good News • March 2020 • Volume 21, Issue 12 Pastor Reader Survey - Leslie J. This month we are doing a little reflection, taking stock if you will; we are nearing three years since I jumped in and made some broad brush changes to the Good News. We continue to challenge and upgrade our publication; we now will focus a heavier emphasis in our on-line digital monthly edition. GN felt it was time to ask our Senior Pastors and Church faith leaders how they really feel about the Good News and hoped they would participate in a short 6-question online BLINDSURVEY. We do not knowwho the respondents were , so it gives us true feedback and takes the pulse on how they feel about our impact or relevance. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the re- newal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:2 ESV) Publisher: Leslie J.
