OUT AND ABOUT 34 MARCH 2020 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition The ministry of the late Humanitarian Arnold Abbott, Love Thy Neighbor is joining forces with HOPE South Florida and will continue to cook and serve delicious and nutritious meals at noon on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturday of every month at HOPE South Florida, located at 1100 N. An- drews Ave., Fort Lauderdale. Their final outdoor feeding was held on February 26 at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park as a tribute to honor the mem- ory of Chef ArnoldAbbott, who dedicated many years to feed- ing the homeless there. Going forward, Love Thy Neighbor will be a regular con- tributor to HOPE South Florida’s shared meals pro- gram, which partners with area churches and ministries to provide meals for the home- less throughout the week. Lazar, PH.D, CMHP, who spoke about the psy- cho/social/traumatic impact on the most innocent and vul- nerable... homeless children.
