She participated in choir all four years, serving as Vice President then President. She was a part of each spring musical and in Thespians International Society, serving as Vice President then President. Acompetitive classical pianist, she earned five superiors at the Federation level. She was a member of National Honor Society, Crazy Love, the Mu Alpha Theta math club and Toastmasters International. She earned a scholarship to Harvard Summer School where she stud- ied neuroscience and musical theater, was in the Summer Chorus and performed in Spectre Bride. She plans to attend the University of Florida, majoring in Biology with a pre-medicine track. Evangelia Gavrilos Salutatorian Boca Raton Christian School Evangelia Gavrilos is graduating as class Salutato- rian of Boca Raton Christian High School with a GPA of 4.38. She holds the title of Student Body Presi- dent, Thespian troupe President, and National Honor Society Vice President. During her time at Boca Christian, she initiated the first voter registration drive. Evangelia has participated in four years of var- sity soccer and two years of varsity cheer. She also interned for Congressman Deutch and volunteered at Boca Regional Hospital. Evangelia will be attending the University of Florida to study Microbiology. Kaitlyn Tully Valedictorian Calvary Christian Academy Kaitlyn Tully is the CCAClass of 2020 Valedictorian. She is a National Merit Finalist 2020 and an AP Scholar with Distinction. Kaitlyn was also a Silver Knight Award Nomi- nee. Serving her community, Kaitlyn founded an after- school tutoring program for foster and adopted children. Shewas President of theNational EnglishHonors Society and was published multiple times in Florida Theatre On Stage Magazine. Kaitlyn received Excellent and Superior Awards inThespians regional competition for CostumeDesign, CostumeConstruction, and Playwriting. She was also the Lead Cappie Critic. Zachary Webb Salutatorian Calvary Christian Academy Zachary Webb is the CCA Class of 2020 Salutato- rian. He was named as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist and is an AP Scholar with Distinction. Amem- ber of the robotics team at CCA, Zachary was also a VEX Robotics US Open Contender. Tristram “T.J.” Moore Valedictorian Atlantic Christian Academy T.J. has always excelled academically, but it is his heart for his family and for others that truly separates him from other graduates. T.J. has served in various lead- ership roles in school clubs and organizations through- out his academic career at ACA. He has been a leader athletically, always setting a positive example on and off the field. T.J. was also involved in the theatre arts program playing the beloved “Oaken” in Frozen Jr. and was recently cast as the lead character “Troy Bolten” for the Spring High School Musical production. T.J. is a genuine person who loves the Lord and exemplifies Proverbs 21:21: “Whoever pursues righteousness and unfailing love will find life, righteousness, and honor.” Diana Paz Salutatorian Atlantic Christian Academy Diana is a student who not only stands out academ- ically but also for her commitment to athletics. Diana excelled in track and field, in particular in the hurdles events. She is a joy to watch as she exudes both skill and true sportsmanship on the track. Diana is fun to be around as can be seen by the many friends she has made and kept through the years. They see her as loyal, encouraging, and a pleasure to be around. Her leadership style can best be summarized in Titus 2:7, “In everything set them an example by doing what is good.” ACA was honored to have Diana as an active member of the student body always lead- ing by example. Outstanding High School Graduates 2020 Andrea Turner Valedictorian Cardinal Newman An AP Scholar with Distinction and a National Merit Scholarship recipient, Andrea served as President of National Honor Society and Vice President of Key Club. She was a member of Spanish Honor Society and Honor Council, received the Harvard Book Award and three silver medals from the National Spanish Exam. Andrea participated in varsity cross country four years, track and field three years, and tennis one year. She was named MVP for both track and cross country. She was awarded the Bronze and Silver Congressional Awards and spent over 350 hours volun- teering for the Family Promise organization. She plans to attend the University of Notre Dame, with a major in Computer Science and minor in Data Analytics. Claire Borland Salutatorian Cardinal Newman High School Amember of the International Baccalaureate program with a GPA of 5.27, Claire was a Pathfinder Nominee for History/Political Science. Amember of the Student Government Association, she was freshman class Treasurer, sophomore class Treasurer, Treasurer of Student Council, and Vice President of Student Coun- cil. She was President of the Knights and Ladies Club, President of the Young Entrepreneurs Club, Vice President of the Pre-Med Club and a member of the National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society. She played varsity lacrosse as well as JV and varsity soccer. She volunteered at Good Samaritan Medical Center and plans to attend the University of Florida Honors Program to study neuroscience.
