LOCAL 29 JULY 2020 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition The Broward Center for the Performing Arts recently honored the 10th graduating class of the Broward Center Teen Ambassador Program consisting of 25 participants from area high schools and home schooling programs. TeenAmbassadors bring a unique perspective to Broward Center events as they detail, through written and video re- views, their behind-the-scenes experiences and exclusive ed- ucational opportunities, includ- ing introductions to every artistic discipline. With theaters dark, the students concluded the pro- gram by reviewing streaming performances of Broadway, classical, dance, opera and jazz remotely. The final meet- ing of the season was held via ZOOM where students gath- ered to look back on the year, share memories and hear the graduating seniors share their future plans. The Broward Center 2019- 2020 Graduating Class in- cludes Adelina Marinello, American Heritage; Megan Price, Cardinal Gibbons High School; Alan Halaly, Deerfield Beach High School; Maya Washburn, Florida Virtual School; Carmela Cinnante, Homeschool; Mariah Mc- Sweeney, McFatter High School; Allison Garland, Nova High School; Alexa Domash, Olympic Heights High School; Abbie Kopelwitz and Emma Wasserman, Western High School. Public, private and home- schooled high school students are eligible to participate.
