Psalm 90:12, "Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom." The many lessons of 2020 is the vail of uncertainty so we need Gods wisdom more than ever and to accept the challenges of life with enthusiasm rather than despair. I point to Romans 13:11, “And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.” Praise God. Christmas is a time of joy with rich opportunities to learn about God's love for us and praise him for the gift of his son; so you can find inspiring parallels in what prayer and hope will do for us. Amen. To you our faithful readers, please rejoice that the challenges of 2020 didn’t keep us from honoring those who guide us spiritually. Thirty-two faith leaders joined us for our Fourth Annual 2020-2021 Good News Celebrates FAITH LEADERS December, Christmas edition. Doug Sauder, Lead Pastor, Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale, co-hosted, welcomed and provided inspiring, up- lifting opening remarks during the photo shoot, which was held in the beautiful Calvary Chapel Theatre, on the campus of Calvary Christian Academy. We are extremely grateful that the reception staff at CCA were trained COVID sensitive. They welcomed each arriving Pastor and greeted them by taking their temperature, checking each mask and then escorting them to the Theatre venue where they refreshed with coffee, tea and assorted individually wrapped breakfast nibbles presented by the Calvary Grill. Pastors had time for fellowship before entering the orchestra assigned seating area, properly social distanced with seat separation and row; all pastors stayed "masked" until GN cover Photographer Justus Martin advised "once I signal ready, if you're comfortable for a brief moment, remove your mask, hold your breath and SMILE.
