Hosted at Riverside Church in Broward and Journey Church in Palm Beach, 4KIDS foster and adoptive families had the op- portunity to receive free back- packs for their children at this fun event. Collected by local businesses, churches, and individuals, the backpacks came in all sorts of styles and sizes- each one packed full of supplies. It was a fantastic Saturday morning full of shopping, face painting, bal- loon twisting, photo booths, and more! The bash’s presenting sponsor was Office Depot, who began making ties with 4KIDS earlier this year when they pledged to design and fund study areas within some of 4KIDS’ residential homes for youth in foster care. Be- sides sponsoring the bash, Office Depot even had some of their teammembers volun- teer their time to help each child pick out their perfect backpack. Adding to the fun, multiple Chick-fil-a restau- rants across South Florida came together to donate hundreds of meals for the event. 4KIDS is fueled by a de- sire to give children in crisis a place to belong and people to love them.
