Good News - November 2019

What does Thanksgiving mean to you? To us at the Good News it means sharing , and as a media company the most significant task we have is to: Recognize, publicize, equip and ignite our sphere of influence – our partners, clients and readers. This year we feature our ThirdAnnual: 2019-2020 Leading Charities and Foundations . Our Good News staff has been busily working since May with great intention identifying our universe of angel servants in South Florida in all spheres of service. Two years ago we were blessed to have 29 charities accept our invitation to participate in our first gathering at the Parker Playhouse for their 2017- 2018 class picture in an audience of peers: all Founders, Presidents or CEO's. Last year, our second year, the 2018-2019 class picture grew to 64 Charities and Foundations also at the Parker Playhouse. In this issue we again were incredibly blessed, and we now feature 87 Charities and Foundations and were fortunate to greet our special friends at the beautiful Broward Center for The Performing Arts. We are pleased to provide our Good News readers with this year's 32-page special section! We strongly encourage you to peruse this special section on our website GoodNewsFl.org/digital/ Most of the charities have companion ads that are touch-screen optimized and will take you DIRECTLY to their website where you can learn more about their mission statement, and you may want to volunteer or donate. That's the spirit of Thanksgiving, please join us. “You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your gen- erosity will result in thanksgiving to God” (2 Corinthians 9:11, NIV). Live life generously.
