He officially begins this new role July 1, 2019. In a society where the morality and ethics of leaders are crumbling, PBA envisions the Center for Biblical Leadership to be a place that brings together students and leadership practi- tioners to consider current chal- lenges of leading both business and ministry organizations from a biblical world view. Studentswill have the opportunity to explore these topics through coursework, guest lectures and engagingwith Christian leaders practicing a bib- lical approach to leadership in the workplace. The Center for Bibli- cal Leadership in the Catherine T. MacArthur School of Leader- ship is the university’s sixth Cen- ter of Excellence. Voorhies, the center’s new director, has been president and CEO of Voorhies International Consulting since 2010. He taught various courses at semi- naries and universities around the world from1990 to 2017 and held several leadership roles during a career of more than 25 years at World Vision, an inter- national Christian humanitarian aid organization. As World Vi- sion’s global director for leader- ship and organizational development, Voorhies led key initiatives in the development of leaders and organizational change across 100 offices in an organization with a $2.5 billion budget and staff of 40,000. Voorhies to Lead Newly-Created Center for Biblical Leadership Dr. Sam Voorhies
