The students, their Firewall mentors, and com- munity partners gathered at Firewall’s Servant Leader Cele- bration on May 14th to com- memorate the students on their successes. The graduating High School Seniors were recog- nized, includingArnold Fuentes, a Firewall student that has been in the program since 6th grade. Arnold received a four-year full ride scholarship to Dartmouth College and will be graduating in the top 10 of his class of over 700 students! “I won’t ever forget the times that my Firewall mentor, Taylor Grippo, spent talking with me about my goals and my grades. She has remained com- mitted to my success since the instant that we met. During my ACT and SAT prep, during my college applications; she was al- ways there,” said Fuentes. Keynote speaker, Anita Fain Taylor, shared with the stu- dents that “regardless of what job you are given, as small as it may seem, give it your all.” The Servant Leader Cele- bration hosted by Eric Yutzy of Local 10 News was a great fin- ish to the 2018-2019 school year.
