OUT AND ABOUT 34 JULY 2019 www.goodnewsfl.org Good News • South Florida Edition Urgent Care Partnership Expands PBA Student Health Services Responding to a growing trend among independent colleges, Palm Beach Atlantic University has established a partnership with Jupiter Med- ical Center to provide all stu- dents with enhanced urgent care services featuring ex- tended operating hours, on- site imaging and testing facilities, and access to top health care providers in the area. Located about a mile from campus at 625 North Flagler Drive, the facility operated by the prestigious Jupiter Med- ical Center will serve campus residents, commuters, ath- letes, evening and graduate students, according to Dean of Students Bob Lutz. Free valet parking is available, and the center can be reached by foot or bike within minutes. Jupiter Medical Center Urgent Care provides walk-in care Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. “This select partnership will enhance the student experi- ence and expand the services offered,” Lutz said. “As we want students to thrive now and in the future, the University is open to collaborating with out- standing organizations, such as Jupiter Medical Center, which specializes in these services.” Jupiter Medical Center Ur- gent Care addresses a variety of health concerns, including com- mon colds, the flu, sinus infec- tions, cuts, burns, sprains, strains and more. The center also pro- vides on-site laboratory testing, digital X-rays and additional serv- ices to enable the rapid diagno- sis and treatment of urgent medical conditions and minor emergencies.
