GoodNewsFL.org 32 NOVEMBER 2018 OUT AND ABOUT StrikeForce 421 Gives More than $150,000 to Three Charities StrikeForce 421 celebrated five years of “radical, life-chang- ing generosity” on October 26 at the Riverside Hotel by giving away $152,647 to three South Florida ministries. Urban Youth Impact (UYI) was awarded a grant of $77,000 to build a teaching kitchen. UYI seeks to love, equip, and em- power inner-city youth to fulfill their God-given purpose. South Florida Bible College (SFBC) was awarded $35,000 to purchase a new 15 passenger van for use in evangelism proj- ects. SFBC is an institution of higher learningwhere theBible is central in preparing men and women for ministry to serve Christ and His Church. Living Waters Counseling was awarded $40,500 to provide additional counseling hours over the next year. LivingWater’smis- sion is to see all wounded hearts healed by the God who wildly loves us. StrikeForce 421, a 501c(3) organization, is awomen’s giving circle that believes in radical, life- changing generosity. Each pledge partner pools funds with other generous givers annually, to make a large and lasting im- pact on the Kingdom, while also addressing real problems and needs in our community.
