(BUFXBZ#MWE 4VJUF #PZOUPO#FBDI'- Boca Raton Christian School senior, Emily Smith, signed a National Letter of In- tent to play soccer with Nyack College in New York in a cere- mony on February 8, 2018. Emily started playing soccer in 5th grade and has long held the goal of continuing to play at a Christian college. Emily cap- tained the Boca Christian soc- cer team all four years, playing midfielder/defender. She has also played for WellingtonWave Travel Club, Team Boca and guest played for Boca United, East Islip Storm and Cooper City Cobras, in addition to par- ticipating in Florida's Olympic Development Program. She is a top state runner in the 800m and 4 x 800m relay, and was named 1st Team All County. Emily is a hard working student as well, earning Valedictorian honors for her graduating class this year. In a ceremony on Novem- ber 9, 2017, Marlena Kinkaid signed a National Letter of In- tent to play volleyball for Palm Beach Atlantic University. Her coaches from Boca Christian and Tribe travel volleyball paid tribute to her growth as a player and her humble, servant’s heart as a person. All high school and middle school students cele- brated the event along with her family. Marlena gave credit to her coaches for seeing her po- tential when she didn’t see it herself and for their patience in helping her develop her skills. Through hard work, countless hours and determination, she finished her high school career with 1700 service points and 2300 assists. Boca Raton Christian School Seniors Sign Letters of Intent Dr. Jason Jackson, Founder and Managing Director of IBS Investment Bank, spoke at the Christian Business Men’s Connection luncheon at Ra- fina Greek Taverna in Boca Raton on January 9. Jackson is a Forbes Finance Council recognized Invest- ment Banker with experience spanning almost two decades. He has been fre- quently quoted by over 250 major news sources. As Chairman of the Investment Committee he is responsible for execution and oversight of the firm’s investment portfolio and advisory positions. He also acts as the Managing Di- rector of Pillar Capital, a divi- sion of IBS Investment Bank focusing on assessing, origi- nating and structuring poten- tial investment opportunities for the bank. Prior to returning to the pri- vate sector Mr. Jackson func- tioned as a professional in the United States Navy, Naval Aviation division based in Lemoore, California. During his two West Pacific tours he participated in both Operation Enduring Freedom and Oper- ation Iraqi Freedom earning several awards.
