Members of the Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR) Greater Palm Beach County gathered together at The Polo Club in Boca Raton on December 5 to be part of the tradition of passing of the gavel from past President, Cathy Lewis, to incoming President, Debra Shapiro. This was a very special cere- mony to commemorate the year’s suc- cesses and accomplishments, and to celebrate the new leadership. According to Jessica Rosato, Past WCR Local President 2016, “This year was a phenomenal year for the Greater Palm Beach Women's Council of Real- tors. We have an invaluable team and a loyal membership. A few members were highlighted with well-deserved awards at the event, and our network was handed over to Debra Shapiro who I know will lead us well in 2018. This organization is truly amazing- the leaders it produces are powerhouses in our industry and in life!" In addition to collecting the food and cooking the meal, which included green bean casserole, fruit cocktail, and baked hams donated by Father Jeff Beebe, Saint Joseph’s Church and School families donated new shoes for men and women in need. All who came enjoyed an early Christmas!
