Pastor Adam Master- son is leading the men through a study of the book of Genesis. Heather Geronemus, Na- tional Board Member of Moth- ers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and Founder & Volun- teer Chairperson of the Annual Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K, has been named Vice Chair of MADD’s 2018 National Board. Following the loss of her father, Dr. Robert Perry Geronemus, to a drunk driver in 2009, Geronemus took a leadership role in the Broward Chapter of the Mothers Against Drunk Driving organi- zation. In 2011, she estab- lished and chaired the Annual Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K, now in its eighth year. These events have raised more than $1.5 million to date for MADD Broward and Palm Beach, the most money raised by any MADD chapter. As a result of these efforts, Geronemus has received the MADD Florida Hero Award twice for outstand- ing achievement. Geronemus returns as chairperson for the 8th Annual 2018 La Croix & Lennox Na- tional Account Services Walk Like MADD & MADD Dash Fort Lauderdale 5K brought to You by Ultimate Software on Sun- day, April 29, 2018. Founded by a mother whose daughter was killed by a drunk driver, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is the nation’s largest nonprofit work- ing to protect families from drunk driving and underage drinking. MADD also supports drunk and drugged driving vic- tims and survivors at no charge, serving one person every nine minutes through local MADD victim advocates and at 1-877-MADD-HELP.
