The most amazing news came when some of their staff came to pray over the new center before they opened to the public. “We invited Hope’s very first Center Director Margy Richardson to join us in prayer and she shared with us that this "new" center is actu- ally NOT a new center at all! This was the very first center Hope Women's Centers saw patients in 30+ years ago!” said President/CEO Nancy McDonald. The Fort Lauderdale Cen- ter is now located at 1400 E. Oakland Park Boulevard, Suite #201, Ft. Lauderdale, 33334 and can be reached at 954-568-2616. “If you know of anyone that could benefit from our services in the Fort Laud- erdale area, we encourage patients to go to our website for complete hours of opera- tion and to schedule an ap- pointment online: HopeWomensCenters.com/co ntact,” said McDonald. House of Hope is the proud recipient of a Community Grant for $10,000 fromHolman Enter- prises. The grant was used to help purchase a Honda Odyssey vehicle that will trans- port House of Hope’s clients to a variety of appointments and better ensure their path to re- covery is continued. “The support we have re- ceived fromHolman Enterprises year after year has contributed to the continued success of countless individuals going through substance abuse treat- ment at House of Hope,” said Chief Executive Officer of House of Hope Sue Glasscock. “This community grant will allow us to transport our clients to job interviews and necessary med- ical appointments that are es- sential to their continued rehabilitation efforts - we can’t thank Holman enough for this support.” This year’s gift represents the third consecutive year Hol- man has awarded a $10,000 grant to House of Hope. The first two years supported repairs, renovation, and improvements to the nonprofit’s facilities, such as roof repairs, upgrades to plumbing and HVAC systems, new security cameras, and win- dow replacements. “House of Hope is chang- ing the lives of people who suffer from substance abuse disorders,” said Steve Hol- man, Director of Community Affairs for Holman Enter- prises. “Holman is grateful that it can play a role in supporting that important mission.” HopeWomen’s Centers opened New Fort Lauderdale Center House of Hope Receives $10,000 From Holman Enterprises Frank Perrone, Jason Etheridge, Sue Glasscock, Ed Corley and Henry Tomassini
